Just now able to get on line. Saturday was a beautiful time even though it did start out raining early in the day. But, must it ended up being real nice. Did get to attend "The Taste of Tippicanoe"
It was really a crowd but it has really grown in the last few years. There were so many bands you couldnt listen to them all. And the food you could easily make a piggy out of your self. They have expanded it to have a section for the little ones to enjoy part of the day. so it really is nice. I listen to some of the blues and jazz bands must say they were good didnt really care for one of them so we walked over to the country bands and ended up staying there the rest of the evening. The first band was
The Woodstove Flapjacks String Band they were really good. In fact they are going to be playing at the "fiddlers gathering" this weekend. There was a little lady must of been in her sevenities and she could really dance. Loved watching her. Then the night ended with
SHILO They have opened for a lot of name acts are getting a real name for thier selves. Anyway didn't get home until around 1am So really had a good time. Best I have had in a long while. Doesn't take much to make me happy I guess. Anyway. that is the beginning of the weekend. The rest needs to go into another book it would seem. Hugs to all

Well, I can't believe I am back were I was a year ago. I am getting ready for the weekend. This weekend Lafayette is having a festival call Taste of Tippicanoe. There will 21 bands lots and lots of food and lots of people and arts and crafts. I wanted to go last year but ended up in Terre haute were they suck the blood and life out of you. I as really excited. My favorite place will be by the Jazz and blues second I really love that part. My friend Diana has been waiting a while for me to come back so we could go. Grandson is not to happy as I won't let him go. but he is a little to young and Nana hasn't been on her own in a while. Of course, will make up to him later. Still looking for a place to live and another job but all in all things are going as going they can be.Have had no rain all week but looks like there are scattered showers and storms coming in for the weekend of course. Don't care will walk in the rain. The weekends have been like that for the last month or so. Indiana has had a lot of flooding I really feel sorry for these people. Hopefully the weathermen are wrong about the rain. Hope ya all have a good weekend -

A Woman was out golfing one day when she hit the ball into the woods. She went into the woods to look for it and found a frog in a trap.
The frog said to her, "If you release me from this trap, I will grant you three wishes."
The woman freed the frog, and the frog said, "Thank you, but I failed to mention that there was a condition to your wishes.
Whatever you wish for, your husband will get times ten!"
The woman said, "That's okay."
For her first wish, she wanted to be the most beautiful woman in the world.
The frog warned her, "You do realize that this wish will also make your husband the most handsome man in the world, an Adonis whom women will flock to".
The woman replied, "That's okay, because I will be the most beautiful Woman and he will have eyes only for me."
So, KAZAM-she's the most beautiful Woman in the world!
For her second wish, she wanted to be the richest woman in the world.
The frog said, "That will make your husband the richest man in the world. And he will be ten times richer than you."
The woman said, "That's okay, because what's mine is his and what's his is mine."
So, KAZAM-she's the richest woman in the world!
The frog then inquired about her third wish, and she answered, "I'd like a mild heart attack."
Moral of the story: Women are clever. Don't mess with them.

Everyone concentrates on the problems we're having in this country lately;

v illegal immigration
v hurricane recovery
v alligators attacking people in Florida
Not me. I concentrate on solutions for the problems. It's a win-win situation.

1. Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border.
2. Send the dirt to New Orleans to raise the level of the levies.
3. Put the Florida alligators in the moat along the Mexican border.
Any other problems you would like for me to solve today?

The week is almost over must say it has been a roller coaster ride. Had to take BA to my daugher's boyfriend. Which means in the day he is in a cage and at night out in the bedroom. But Alan does take him out for walks and BA does love him. this is just until I find a place. Believe I have made the little doped up trouble maker trouble for all this. But, even with that I love it in Lafayette. And know this was the right move. Still don't know about the vechile but hey there are buses and I do walk a little. It has rained a lot the last few weeks. Everywhere has been flooded. Lucky I haven't done to much traveling. But it is nice and sunny today. Went to the ER ( should say walked) my ankle is bothering me again. Pain pills is all I got and still know answer. Oh well, I walked out on my own when I get home I will soak it again. Hope you have a good day talk to ya all soon -
Still up and kickin
