Just now able to get on line. Saturday was a beautiful time even though it did start out raining early in the day. But, must it ended up being real nice. Did get to attend "The Taste of Tippicanoe"header_bg_about
It was really a crowd but it has really grown in the last few years. There were so many bands you couldnt listen to them all. And the food you could easily make a piggy out of your self. They have expanded it to have a section for the little ones to enjoy part of the day. so it really is nice. I listen to some of the blues and jazz bands must say they were good didnt really care for one of them so we walked over to the country bands and ended up staying there the rest of the evening. The first band was woodstove5layfaltsThe Woodstove Flapjacks String Band they were really good. In fact they are going to be playing at the "fiddlers gathering" this weekend. There was a little lady must of been in her sevenities and she could really dance. Loved watching her. Then the night ended with shiloSHILO They have opened for a lot of name acts are getting a real name for thier selves. Anyway didn't get home until around 1am So really had a good time. Best I have had in a long while. Doesn't take much to make me happy I guess. Anyway. that is the beginning of the weekend. The rest needs to go into another book it would seem. Hugs to all
