Came hom and this afternoon and found that a very favorite show I have always loved was tape on my DVR. It was "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" I just love this show. It is sad in parts but shows love and faith and is so hard warming. Here is just a good scene before a sad part comes.

Got up a while ago and was sitting here and what did I hear? Yes, that is right Thunder and now it is raining. Yuck doubl Yuck Oh well it is thursday and it looks like it is going to do this until saturday. when it will be only cloudy. One more day and it will be the weekend guess I will make up. I am very ashamed of the intolarants of people. Espcially, when they are suppose to be standing up for the rights of others or so they say. Then they have others banned for a comment that didnt sound like it should be there oe not what they wantd to hear. We have all had comments that have not been what we wanted to hear or made us feel misunderstood. But, we either ignored or deleted or asked what they meant or explained what we thought they meant exc. Even blocked some from coming on our blog. But to get another person BLOCKED ALL TOGETHER WHERE THEY CANT SEND COMMENTS OR RECIEVE COMMENTS. Is total uncalled for shows that maybe this is getting to be a bias place to comment. I am glad I didnt comment it would have probabley pissed you off too. No the comment wasnt actually about what was written but a point of the irony of the situation. Anyway. I am very disheartend at the bullying that seems to be going on here of late. Who is the next one to be violated. Probabley me. But this is a freedom to speak supposedly. I love my friends here but come on where is the tolrance and love

Went to get a prescription for my hand long story short was able to get half a prescription. Anyway decided to use thier blood pressure machine just to see what my pressure was. Well, proababley better off not knowing. It was 224/82 really high. Now I know why I havent been feeling good. Think I was better not knowing. Anyway decided to leave work at 2 and got home at 3. Kept dozing off in the recliner. There was good breeze coming in the door. About 6 it started raining. Not really heavy but it isnt 80 degrees now. When I came home spooks had decided to get off the recliner and go under the entertainment center. Of course, she is back behind my head again. Hope ya all had a great day.

Well, it is monday and there is a weather advisory. It is going to very windy today and there will be wind gusts to 35 mph. But it was like that all weekend. Well it wont be 80 today it is only going to be 78 today. There is going to be rain and thunderstorms this afternoon. Would love to stay home today but a lot of crap is going on at work so have to be there for monday just to make sure I dont get put on the wrong team as the team leaders are fighting. You would think the opertions manager would man up and take control. Guess not. I am rested from the weekend. And did enjoy it. Hope you all are having a good day. The morning was great cool with a breeze. Birds were singing and enjoyed it. Pearl came over and we went and did a little shopping and found some great prsicalla lace (sheers) curtians for my front room windows to be put over the veneition blinds. They were on a yard sale discount table. Came back home around 2 and watched"HellFighters" with John Wayne and some other shows taped last week. And enjoyed the rest of the day in a quiet manner. It has turned out to be a nice weekend. Hope all yours was too

First am butting this on now because I couldnt find it on easter. It is 8:30am this sunday morning it is 65 degrees with mild wind which they say will pick up and it is suppose to be 81 again today like yesterday. If that is so I hope the wind is just as strong. Have rain coming in and will be in 70's all week. As I will be at work you cares. More green on the trees and the birds are singing thier little hearts out. Have the door open listening as they go about for thier breakfast. Have some things to do today. will see what I decided to do. As it is my right to do nothing. It has been a quiet weekend didnt go anywhere but really wasnt upset about it as I did get some things accomplished and I really needed to be at home. Next week the Farmers Market opens up downtown and am looking forward to that I would like some fresh veggies. Hope you all have had a great day so far

It is a very warm day 80 degrees but there has been a great big breeze all day. And looks like it will be that way for a few days. I didnt go to the patio and flower show just didnt want to fight the bus system so didnt go anywhere. Well, I did go to the speedway petlro station and got me some ice tea and pop and cat food and a real small pizza for BA and came home again. Enjoyed the walk but it was hot. I cleaned up my living room and rearranged a few things. Put out my plants on the front porch. Now if you all remember everytime I put out my spider planets the finches or sparrows make thier nests in them. So I am looking forward to that. Right now I am listen to strisand's concert on tv. Nieghbors are sitting on my front porch. As thier deck on back doesnt have the veiw of the street that I have. It was not a bad day at all. Talked to a few people on the phone and all. piddled aroung the house and got a few things done. So it was relaxed day must say. Almosted didnt relize the day was over but it is getting dark now as it is 8:45pm. Hope your Saturday was good and your Sunday is starting out good. Hugs

It is friday and it has been a long week. Hopefully, my hand will heal some more. I am still groggy from the pain pills. I am ready for the weekend it is going to be in the 80's today and tomorrow. There are some things I want to do tomorrow but will see how it falls. Talked to a cousin last night which was nice as this family isnt very close. Am sorry was going to post more but I am still groggy and cant get the thoughts out. Talk to ya all tonight

Good Morning the sun is out a little already. They say it is going to be a little warmer but then we will be having gusting winds which could stop that. But starting tomorrow it is to be in the 70's. Anyway I am glad the week is almost over. Looks like we will be getting home early again today actually I dont care I feel tired today. And BA wont be so lonely. Happy Birthday

This was our little visitor today at work. Isnt she cute. Her name is Chiquita. Makes you want to grab her up and cuddle her

Got home a few hours ago. And Mr. BA was not in the bedroom where he stays when I am not at home. He had opened the door which is another story. And was running loose in the house. Now that is not why Mr. BA the butthead is in trouble for. I had a shopping bag full of bread and hamburger buns, bagels sitting on a chair until I got home to put them away. Well, Mr. BA decided he wanted not to eat them but to hide them. The large loaf of whole bread was sitting in Spooks litter box half buried. The bag of Bagels in a corner of my bedroom between the clothes hamper and book shelf. The rest I havent found yet. Now fat but is not starving in fact he always has food including whatever I am eating and Spooks food when he sneaks it. So instead of being held when I got home he spent a half hour in the bathroom. But all is forgiven and he had barbcue ribs for dinner. What a big pain in the but is he is. But I love him*sign*

Rain is still the order of the day. Cloudy off and on and it is 42 degrees but it should be warmer starting thursday so guess the weekend will be warm. Well, as you can see my thumb and wrist is killing me. What did I do you say. Crocheting caused all this. I will be posting the finished afghan and instructions for those who feel inclined. No this is not the one that pushed the hand problem to this point. I will post a picture of the one that I started which might take me a while as I work on it for a while and then go back to another one I started. But this one is close and tight and it has killed my hand. Who knew a simple pasttime would cause this. Anyway I am wearing this handband it hasnt helped a lot. I cant even open a pack of sugar. Anyway it wont stop me I love crocheting it will just slow me down. Hope you all have a great day

It is raining again on this Monday. It rained yesterday off an all. Did walk Bailey home during one of the stops in the rain. It wasnt to cold. Didnt go walking about very far today. We got as far as my daughter's about a mile down the road. Got there and spent the day and about 4:30apm Bailey and I walked home. Bailey was coughing and not feeling good so game him some meds, ordered him a pizza and me a sandwich and he ate and went to sleep and he has been asleep most of the evening. He will proabaley be awake early but poor baby just doesnt feel good either. It was really warm today. But we have rain coming in tonight and it will be cooler. Anyway not a bad day aat all.

Good news it is going to be 70 degrees today. But by noon it is suppose to be cloudy who cares as long as it is warm. Well, am going off to do a little exploring with Bailey hope that will wear him down a little. Actually still dont feel good but no hope for it I guess. Best laid plans of mice and men they say. He is raring to go so guess will wrap my ankle and off we go. Oh as all you know I have been crocheting a lot lately. One down and am working on two more. Will post on group blog soon. But, I now know I am getting old. This one pattern I am working on has got my hands and wrist and my left arm hurting like the devil. Hmmmmm and just sitting and crocheting.. The lady that showed me that new pattern has had to go to the doctor over it. Now that isnt going to happen to me and since I really like the two patterns I am doing now I am switching off every so meany hours but I am gettng some muscle rub to put on my hands and wrist. Another raining day. Am told it will clear up tomorrow afternoon. Who knows. Am going back to work today but still have the pain in the side of my head.Sinsus is killing me. Heard the stupid kid that is doing the receptionst job didnt tell the team leader that I called in. Then again I have Ms linda as a team leader but Jackie is back and she wants her team back. So I dont know who the dam team leader is. So I told Eric to tell them both. Daughter called and said Jackie was asking were I was I didnt call in. Told her I did call in and if Eric didnt give to them I would kick his ass. Called him he said well the people on the floor didnt need to know. Told him team leaders did and if they tried to write me up I would have his dam job. But, Ms linda didnt ask jodi so she might have found it. Eric said he put it were team leaders could come up and look at. He is going to lose his job unless someone decks the little twerb. Anyway am not looking forward to going in but 4 more days and we will be off am looking forward to that. Anyway hugs for the day

It is a rainy morning. No I did not go to the work. My ride didnt go today but then again I could have taken the bus. But woke up a little Yucky so decided to stay home and do a little something then again not who knows. But dont feel stressed so that is another okay feeling. Hope you all have a good day. It is 39 degrees with windchill of 26 so dont even want to go out. Didnt read the paper yesterday so am going to get another cup of coffee and read yesterdays and todays paper then decide what I want to do. Well it is 10:30am got a late start. Stayed up until 1am playing pogo.com Aces up was not stressed last night for some reason. Saw some flashing lights on the wall so got up and looked out and to cops had a truck stopped and handcuffed him and took him to jail. Poor guy think he was just a little tippsy. Am going to go to walmart so it will take me a while buses only run every hour on Saturdays. Guess they figure people have all the time in the world on Saturday. Not but anyway. I probabley will be worn out and wont get nothing done today like I planned. If I could catch a ride I could get there and back. Oh well that is the way it goes. But, if I get one thing accomplished then it is better than nothing I guess.Hope you all have a great day. I am out and about. And actually maybe that is what I need Hugs to ya all

I guess it is Good Friday. I don't know if that means the banks wont be open. They had better or there will be very upset people I must say. It is raining today and suppose to be cooler to day. I really thought this was Friday. Man I am always confused lately. I thought next weekend was Easter. Now I find out it is this Sunday There goes the leg of lamb for dinner. Oh well I will have to pick up something for Bailey's Easter Basket. Time flys and stands still at the same time. I am really tired today seems like lately I am always tired. Sun is out for a while and it was so nice waking up to the birds singing even if it is 33 degrees out. Should be up to 60 then it is going to rain tomorrow then colder around mid 50's That is the roller coaster ride of our weather. Well, I guess I had better get ready for work. Have a great day

A teacher in a one-room schoolhouse arrives one morning to find a nice red apple on her desk with a tag tied to it saying T.O.T. Knowing that she had some not-so-nice pranksters in her class, she cautiously asked, "Can someone explain what TO.T. means?" Mary in the front row raised her hand to explain it means "To Our Teacher."

It is Wednesday again must say the week is going fast. Had a little set to with ex sister in law but think I made my point that she needs to rethink what she threatens I am not the one to do that to. Not now I will go off and it wont be pretty. Never mind it isnt worth thinking about now. The sun is out and it is going to be 58 today. But rain will be coming in thursday night but saturday it wont be raining supposedly. I am still tired dont know why. Need to wake up. Maybe tonight when I come home it will be better than yesterday. I just dont know why I am so tired. Oh, well two more days and the weekend and I am so ready. Hope you all have a great day

It is 8am and sun is shining. Wasnt on much last night I was just wore out from work. We did get to work about 6 hours. I got one whole sell. People were the pits all day. Yuck. Unemployement was screwed up and didnt in the bank right so everyone was upset about that. I got home and just collapsed in my chair. Landlord didnt come for the rent so he will be here today. I didnt go to bed until 11 which is early for me. But, I was so tired. Actually I still am. Love my grandson But, I am not going to have him this weekend. Have some things I want to do. It is suppose to be warm this year so we will see. I am so tired today. I proabley wont get awake until I get home. Who knows what hours wee will have today. Anyway it is still chilly so I doubt if I walk today. Then again who knows really at this point today is stil up in the air. Hope your days are going good

The warmth is gone the sun is lying in bed. It is raining with snow flurries and is coatings the ground and it is cold. Dam I was fooled thinking it was spring. Anyway it is monday we will probabley get to work until 5 today. Maybe but Monday we usually get more hours than then everyday after less. Now I heard we might get more hours this week. But of course a lot of people lost half thier hourly pay. So they wont be making anymore money. I said well just take the difference in unemployment. It is a shame just because they had more people stay until the end they took the hourly wage way down. They thought more people would walk out so next commission will go. So they can hire people in at less pay and no commission. Don't know were it will end. . I need to get ready have to rethink what I am going to wear. Have a great day. 4 more days and the weekend.

Well, so much for sitting and enjoying the rain. Got my cup of coffee(more about that later) was sitting looking out the big window at the sun. Heard thunder start up and now it is raining. It was raining pretty hard. Was going to go for a walk today and walk Bailey home but dont know now. Of course is only 8:30am so it could clear up for a few hours. Or a few minutes it is good for that. Boy Old Rip Van Winkle has woken and is bowling with the angels and must say he is tearing up those 10 pins. As my grandmother use to say. Had some things to do in the house today after Bailey leaves. But, if the sun isnt out and you all know that means it proabley wont get done. Oh well, there is always some other day. I love listening to the thunder but oops that was lighting I just saw. But, the birds ares still just chirping away. I saw the prettiest robin yesterday but couldnt get close enough with the cell phone camera. Must pick up a camera some how and keep it with me I do love taking odd pics. Well hope you alls day is going good mine is starting quiet(Bailey is a sleep.) and rain is giving the birds thier baths and they are out there singing. So have a great day

Today we enjoyed the nice weather as it is going to rain tomorrow and not be as warm. Also, snow flurries for monday and tuesday. Anyway, Bailey and I walked to his mom's house and stopped along the way to look at the flowers poking up thier little heads. And the Dogwood trees which are big in Indiana are really blooming. I love to look at them. When to this store in Brookston outside of Lafayette they have the best meats and good sells. Since I am only getting 97 a month in food stamps. I got 38lbs of meat for $58 which made all the meat coming in at $1.53 a pound. So am happy about that. When we came back home and I broke the meat down into one and two serving sizes and put in freezer. Bailey and I walked to the Village Pantry and got us something to drink it was really nice walking. Of course, I was sore when we got home. And boy is he a handful. Then we watched the movies Sand Lot 1,2,3. Of course 1 I have seen millions of times but do like it. But, the other two have never seen in fact, didnt know they even existed. So at least it was something new. But, I did record them and recorded Medagascar which we will watch someother time. I just put on some of my Native American music. And he is finally asleep little pill that he is. Anyway Day was up and down but still good with him. Hope your Saturday was good as well

I think people have just about over done cell phones in thier ears. Yesterday proved this point. I nearly had another co-worker fired over this. Now, I dont like conflict at the work place and I dont give a dam what someone else does UNTIL they bring me into it.
At work we always write down our sales on a board so team leaders can see how the day is going and so on. More like competition really. And we are always asking each other how many sales we have. Well, there is a slight good hearted rivalry between about 4 or 5 of us. Mike being one of them. Now he is about 20 years younger than me but a good kid (or was). Any way him and his girlfriend or always fighting. She calling him on his cell at work etc. He was one of those dam blue tooth cells in his ear at all times. Even on the sales for which is not allow anyway. So you never know if he is on the phone or not. Anyway, he comes up to our old teamleader desk at the end of our row. And he had been talking to the guy on the other side of the partation. As he looked up latonya said ask Mike how many sales he has. So I did Well, he went off he was talking on his cell dont talk to him while he was talking on his sell. He went and set down and get up the tirate over the cubicle. Then I went off told no one knew he was talking on his cell since first of all it isnt suppose to be on on the sale floor. And shut his mouth or he would regret. Well, set there for a minute and the longer I set there the madder I got. So I went to HR who of course wasnt there. So went to the team leader and she was going to have me file a complaint over the attack. But, latonya didnt want to get him fired. So team lead took us into the ops managers office. He ended up aploizing I accepted but we will never be friends again and he can keep his big ass away from me. And I better not see that big cell phone in his ear on the floor. Of course, my daughter was friends with him but now she his mad you dont disrepect her mother. But, I took care of it. He is lucky he is still working there. So Cell phones have taken over peoples minds. Sorry about the rant but he was lucky I didnt press it. He has went off other people and they let him get by with it not me. He is lucky I am not 20years younger it would have got reall ugly.

The sun is shining so at least day is starting upbeat. But, the wind is really blowing so I dont know if it will reach 60 like they say it will or not. Didnt want to get up today but once a awake might as well get up. Continue to wish my life away. Counting the minutes until I get home again. Hope you all have a great day
