@ 2009-07-30 – 08:55:58
my
It is Thursday and looks like a little bit of rain might be coming to the area. Got up and decided would walk to my daughters and got there and she wasnt there. Got home and she had been here but it wasnt to see me she wanted something. Scott wouldnt talk to her so dont know if she got the job or not. Anyway Tomorrow is pay day and found out my bills are going to out number it again. So now car for me this pay. So next week and until I get a vehicle I will be paying 45 dollars a week to get home from work. As it is to far to walk and there are no buses. Oh well, That means every pay before I pay bills I have to put back 90 back so I can get home. My ride will be on a different shift in one more week. Oh well, People they know of cars that are cheap until you have the money then no. Oh well what goes around. Anyway tomorrow is going to be real long we pick up are checks at 9am (direct deposit wont start until next time. anyway will cash go pay bills and then try to figure out how to get some food for the next two weeks it is either pay bills or eat. You know I am really tired of trying it never lets up. I cant even get to the dam food pantrys. It is to much am really tired of it all. It would be better just to forget it all and lay down let it all go. Oh well, I am just depressed today. Have to get ready for work hope your day is better. I know I should be glad I am getting a bigger check. But with being behind and out of everything it is what it is -
Is is really??
@ 2009-07-29 – 08:06:30

It is Humpday already. Am looking forward to the weekend dont know really why other than it is the weekend and for weekend's and we always look forward to it. It looks like rain today and it is in the 70's but it isnt suppose to do it this weekend. Still havent found a place to move to. If I dont go with the slum lord I will have to come up with a deposit and dont know if I can do that. But, the last house she thought was good I wouldnt put my dog into. Stupid woman. So who knows. She cant even remember when to pick up the rent. Anyway work is going ok. We go live on the phones on Monday so that will be a treat. But after aweek it will just old hat then we will see if it gets even better. Anyway must get ready. I just pulled something on my nieghbor. I wouldnt have but they woke me up at 7am being loud and obnoxis so My radio has been rather loud with country music. Which I dont listen to unless it old old country or Honky tonk music. I listen to a lot of other music. But, He just left I think I got my point across. The big moron. But anyway music wasnt bad just something I dont always listen to. It is the type of music is best listen to you when you are drinking
And I aint doing that when going to work. Oh well, hope you all have a great day

Awesome Paint Job / Keep Him Walking
Check out what some of our boys overseas did to their helicopter.
This very special Mi-24 helicopter is presently flying in Afghanistan , where it is no doubt causing quite a stir.

Keep him walking. This man is walking to show support for our troops.

Please pass him on so that he can reach his destination.
Say a prayer for our soldiers, then pass him on to others.
This is really interesting how someone did this. He's walking around the world -- via e-mail! Pass it on so he can get there!

Your Yearly Demetia Test Dont say I didnt warn you
@ 2009-07-25 – 20:52:16

Spicecomments.com - Elderly CommentsIt's that time of year to take our annual senior citizen test.
Exercise of the brain is as important as exercise of the muscles. As we grow older, it's important to keep mentally alert. If you don't use it, you lose it! Below is a very private way to gauge your loss or non-loss of intelligence.
Take the test presented here to determine if you're losing it or not. The spaces below are so you don't see the answers until you've made your answer.
OK, relax, clear your mind and begin.1. What do you put in a toaster?
Answer: 'bread.' If you said 'toast,' give up now and do something else..
Try not to hurt yourself. If you said, bread, go to Question 2.2. Say 'silk' five times. Now spell 's ilk.' What do cows drink?
Answer: Cows drink water. If you said 'milk,' don't attempt the next question. Your brain is over-stressed and may even overheat. Content yourself with reading a more appropriate literature such as Auto World. However, if you said 'water', proceed to question 3.
3. If a red house is made from red bricks and a blue house is made from blue bricks and a pink house is made from pink bricks and a black house is made from black bricks, what is a green house made from?
Answer: Greenhouses are made from glass.. If you said 'green bricks,' why are you still reading these???
If you said 'glass,' go on to Question 4.4. It's twenty years ago, and a
plane is flying at 20,000 feet over Germany (If you will recall, Germany at the time was politically divided into West Germany and East Germany ) Anyway, during the flight, two engines fail. The pilot, realizing that the last remaining engine is also failing, decides on a crash landing procedure. Unfortunately the engine fails before he can do so and the plane fatally crashes smack in the middle of 'no man's land' between East Germany and West Germany . Where would you bury the survivors? East Germany , West Germany , or no man's land'?
Answer: You don't bury survivors.
If you said ANYTHING else, you're a dunce and you must stop. If you said, 'You don't bury survivors', proceed to the next question.5. Without using a calculator - You are driving a bus from London to Milford Haven in Wales . In London , 17 people get on the bus.
In Reading , 6 people get off the bus and 9 people get on.
In Swindon, 2 people get off and 4 get on.
In Cardiff , 11 people get off and 16 people get on.
In Swansea , 3 people get off and 5 people get on.
In Carmathen, 6 people get off and 3 get on.
You then arrive at Milford Haven..
Without scrolling back to review, how old is the bus driver?Answer: Oh, for crying out loud!
Don't you remember your own age? It was YOU driving the bus!!If you pass this along to your friends, pray they do better than you.
PS: 95% of people fail most of the questions!! How did you do??????

As you walk up the steps to the building which houses the U.S Supreme Court you can see near the top of the building a row of the world's law givers and each one is facing one in the middle who is facing forward with a full frontal view .. it is Moses and he is holding the Ten Commandments!DID YOU KNOW?

A farmer had some puppies he needed to sell. He painted a sign advertising the 4 pups And set about nailing it to a post on the edge of his yard. As he was driving the last nail into the post, he felt a tug on his overalls. He looked down into the eyes of little boy'Mister,' he said, 'I want to buy one of your puppies.'
'Well,' said the farmer,
as he rubbed the sweat off the back of his neck, 'These puppies come from fine parents and cost a good deal of money.'The boy dropped his head for a moment.
Then reaching deep into his pocket,
he pulled out a handful of change
and held it up to the farmer.'I've got thirty-nine cents.
Is that enough to take a look?''Sure,' said the farmer.
And with that he let out a whistle.
'Here, Dolly!' he called.Out from the doghouse and down the ramp ran
Dolly followed by four little balls of fur.
The little boy pressed his face against the chain link fence. His eyes danced with delight.
As the dogs made their way to the fence, the little boy noticed something else stirring inside the doghouse
Slowly another little ball appeared, this one noticeably smaller. Down the ramp it slid. Then in a somewhat awkward manner, the little pup began hobbling toward the others, doing its best to catch up....
'I want that one,' the little boy said, pointing to the runt. The farmer knelt down at the boy's side and said, 'Son, you don't want that puppy. He will never be able to run and play with you like these other dogs would.'
With that the little boy stepped back from the fen ce, reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his trousers..
In doing so he revealed a steel brace running down both sides of his leg attaching itself to a specially made shoe.
Looking back up at the farmer, he said,
'You see sir, I don't run too well myself,
and he will need someone who understands.'With tears in his eyes, the farmer reached down and picked up the little pup.
Holding it carefully he handed it to the little boy.
'How much?' asked the little boy. 'No charge,' answered the farmer, 'There's no charge for love.'
The world is full of people who need someone who understands

Each person on Earth is Youshen's dearly Loved baby.
On 'World Population Day' it's important that each one of us remember that we are all ONE Leaf of The Oak, Youshen's Sacred Tree of The People. We sojourn on Earth to learn to Peacefully Dream and share our Dreams with each other. As mortals, each and every one of us has happy and sad moments in our lives. No matter what we believe, language we speak or where we live, we must remember that although The Oak has many diverse Branches, we are all ONE Family. Not just today, but every day, give someone a smile to show them you care. Don't just whisper words of hope that someday very soon all mankind will realize that they are all brothers. Take a moment to see the beauty of another Rainbow Way. Today, on 'World Population Day', please honor Youshen by feeling Their Love for each of Their very unique Children and Grand Children, especially YOU!!!

Friday is here doesnt come sneaking on your when you least expect it. Well, looks like a start the new job Monday. The hours of training are noon to 9am. So Monday I am going to get a bus pass as it looks like will have to take two buses. And then at night will have to take a cab home as it is to far to walk and buses wont be running. Anyway, at least that is good news. And then of course the other shoe drops from a different direction. I am over feeling sorry for myself and am going to have to figure out how and were I am going to have to move to. Looks like we are going to get rain this evening and at this moment Jo and Scott the cockatiels are trying to out scream the ambulance going passed. They think they can out do them.:}}. Oh well, need to pick up my little check from tela service thank god I am over that place completely. Will blog more and try to be more up beat. I know it can be a drag listening the drama of my life. But it does seem like the drama never lets up no matter how much I try to stay away it follows me. -

And am not going to climb stairs to her roach invested apartments the house she kept telling me about isnt empty. And now the getting part. We will have thirty days to move. Now the inbetween. I wont have a full check in the job for what two three weeks. So now how do I pay 1 months rent and a deposit. Everyone keeps saying you better be looking. Well how about looking and then telling the owners hey I might have a littl money to give you but I dont have 1st months rent and no there is no deposit. So again I am screwed and I dont care. So why take a job when I wont have a place to live. Dont know dont care it is all good hey didnt think it was going to be good knew something would happen so guess what. This not a picture from today. After I got home from my errands today and the doctors visit. Which means most of my time was spent cooling my heels at the doctor's office. I actually only spent 5 minutes with the doctor. Anyway as I walked doing errands and going to the DR office I took pictures with my camera phone. Now here is the But, I went to send them to my email so I could down load them. As they were being sent I deleted before the process was already done so they were deleted in mid send. So I have none of the pictures and I had some really good ones. Crap. Oh well, my bp is 138/80 so I guess it means it still is ok. No more lost weight but no gained weight so all is good. I have things to do but again I feel kind of off for some reason. Anyway hope your day is going ok.

nothing to do with content
@ 2009-07-08 – 06:53:54

Picture has nothing to do with content of this blog really. I just took the picture while I was waiting for the bus last night as I thought it looked intersting. Anyway not going into work today as I have doctors appointment and three appointments in the same place. So I can get a lot done without walking over. I have some news that I will be sharing soon. I was on the news again last night the telly station news person came out about the tearing down of our homes again. So I was the telly telling them what I thought. Like it makes a difference. My landlord's husband says they have no vacancy's right now. Like they have anything I would want. And the one place they have I cant afford so who knows. Anyway. looks like we might get some rain today. Oh well it is better than snow I think. I am excited about next week if everything goes down right. Anyway. Some good some not good some just ok. But, that is the way of the world I think. Hugs to all I am off for a few hours. Hugs to all -
Welcome to my water bowl
@ 2009-07-07 – 05:59:33
A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead.
He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years. He wondered where the road was leading them.
After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road. It looked like fine marble... At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight.
When he was standing before it he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl, and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold. He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side.
When he was close enough, he called out, 'Excuse me, where are we?''This is Heaven, sir,' the man answered.. 'Wow! Would you happen to have some water?' the man asked.
Of course, sir. Come right in, and I'll have some ice water brought right up. 'The man gestured, and the gate began to open.
'Can my friend,' gesturing toward his dog, 'come in, too?' the traveler asked.
'I'm sorry, sir, but we don't accept pets.'
The man thought a moment and then turned back toward the road and continued the way he had been going with his dog.
After another long walk, and at the top of another long hill, he came to a dirt road leading through a farm gate that looked as if it had never been closed. There was no fence.
As he approached the gate, he saw a man inside, leaning against a tree and reading a book.
'Excuse me!' he called to the man. 'Do you have any water?'
'Yeah, sure, there's a pump over there, come on in.'
'How about my friend here?' the traveler gestured to the dog.
'There should be a bowl by the pump.'
They went through the gate, and sure enough, there was an old-fashioned hand pump with a bowl beside it.
The traveler filled the water bowl and took a long drink himself, then he gave some to the dog.
When they were full, he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree.
'What do you call this place?' the traveler asked.
'This is Heaven,' he answered.
'Well, that's confusing,' the traveler said. 'The man down the road said that was Heaven, too.'
'Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates? Nope. That's hell.'
'Doesn't it make you mad for them to use your name like that?'
'No, we're just happy that they screen out the folks who would leave their best friends behind.'
Soooo...
Sometimes, we wonder why friends keep forwarding jokes to us without writing a word.
Maybe this will explain.
When you are very busy, but still want to keep in touch, guess what you do? You forward jokes.
When you have nothing to say, but still want to keep contact, you forward jokes.
When you have something to say, but don't know what, and don't know how, you forward jokes.
Also to let you know that you are still remembered, you are still important, you are still loved, you are still cared for, guess what you get? A forwarded joke.
So, next time if you get a joke, don't think that you've been sent just another forwarded joke, but that you've been thought of today and your friend on the other end of your computer wanted to send you a smile.
You are all welcome @ my water bowl anytime!

Sqeaky Wheel
@ 2009-07-06 – 19:08:51

On the way to work this morning as I crossed the empty abandon parking lot of the old payless grocery store I heard this old sqeaking sound. As I looked up this man was riding toward me on this old bicycle and he was riding sort of slow and that bike was making the most sqeaking noise I have ever heard. Now as he slowly passed me it just sqeaking. Now I was thinking frist of all I couldnt hear the birds for the sqeaking. And then I wondered why he didnt pedal faster so maybe the it wouldnt sqeak as much. Or hey maybe greasy if before riding. As he finally got down the road and I got closer to work I was able to hear the birds again.
Now why am I going on about the sqeaky bike. Well, it got me to thinking (I know a mircle hug?
) Anyway I got to thinking how that sqeaky wheel on that old bike is like people and reality. Not as far fetched as it sounds. People go throught thier lifes doing the same thing, keeping on with keeping on, one might say. Oblivious, to the wrinkles in thier faces, the ablitity to have the same stamina hey had in the begining. But, going on with thier sqeaky wheel creaking along oblivious to everyone around that comes within reach of thier sqeaky wheel. So the reality may be that the reality is as long as we have that sqeaky wheel we are still in the game and not on the sidelines. Maybe or Maybe I need to curb my brains wandering as I walk And just maybe check some spelling would help make my point to

Lafayette resident Sheryl Dominquez doesn't want to move out of the apartment she rents in the 1700 block of Union Street.
"I don't have a place to go because I don't have the money to move with," Dominquez said.
Also, she's worried about finding a new rental unit that's affordable, close to a bus stop and has good neighbors -- all of which her current home has.
Dominquez might have to move if Lafayette City Council members approve rezoning the land where her apartment sits clearing the way for CVS to build a store on the site bounded by 17th, 18th, Union and Salem streets.
Instead of a new store, Dominquez said, property owners should build new residential units or improve the existing ones.
CVS wants Lafayette's council members, who will consider the rezoning measure today for the first of two votes, to rezone the land from residential to planned development. The rezoning has already been studied and given the green light by the Tippecanoe County Area Plan Commission despite the objection of some local residents.
GB Indiana 2 LLC, an Indianapolis development company, is applying for the rezoning to allow a 12,900-square-foot CVS drugstore to be built on the site after nearly a dozen single-family homes and apartment structures are purchased and torn down. Two lots on the northwest corner of the site would retain their residential zoning.
Lafayette Mayor Tony Roswarski said he supports the project because of the impact a store there could have on the nearby areas.
"It's a good looking project that will send a message to that part of town that it is alive and well," Roswarski said.
In 2002, four homes in the rezoning area were destroyed by a natural gas explosion. Some of the lots remain empty today.
Lafayette resident Rich Gill lives in the 1700 block of Rainey Street, which is about a block south of where the new drugstore would be built.
Gill, who's lived there for seven years, said he likes the idea of a CVS going in on the site.
"People's property will probably appreciate more," Gill said.
The site's design includes a pedestrian connection through the area, 29 percent of the property will be devoted to greenspace and 70 parking spaces will be available, with more than 30 spaces using pervious concrete to improve stormwater drainage.
The new store would replace an existing CVS drugstore in Lafayette's Market Square shopping center.

Beginning an End
@ 2009-07-05 – 21:17:31

Tomorrow starts a new week then again if you start work on sunday today is the beginning of your week. So which ever have a good one. I am going tomorrow but dont know the rest of the week. I am pissed that they gave us only enough hours to clear $65. What are you suppose to do with that. Anyway It rained all day Saturday but I stayed home and enjoyed the quiet. Except for the Mexican Party across the street. Actually the music didnt bother me. And did a lot of fireworks infact they are doing somemore at this moment. Hopefully this week will be better than last week. Hope you all have a great one too -

Nearly 5pm and it is still raining. Not as much as before but it is raining. It usually does this on the fourth. It isnt hot just 64 degrees and that makes me feel good. I took a nap earlier and woke up to loud loud mexican music my neighbors across the street and down on the corner are having a 4th party. Which is alright I dont mind the music. I suppose they will have fireworks which means I wont have to go anywhere to see them if I dont want to. Didnt get to the store no one would take me and there are no buses yesterday or today. They do have it ass backwards I guess. It is nice an quiet Bailey went home at 1am. I just might order something out tonight. Dont really have the money but dont want to cook either as I havent got anyting to eat really. Anyway didnt get nothing done today. But am relaxing on this 4th. Scott called and said they were back from Wolcot because it was raining to hard to stay for the picnic and fireworks. It is a shame it is doing that. If it keeps up they will have to wait until tomorrow night to do it. Anyway hope you all had a great saturday and the 4th of July here in the states -

If hugs were leaves,
I would give you a tree.

I would give you a galaxy.

I loved and still love this show and she was my favorite character
LONDON (Reuters) – British actress Mollie Sugden, best-known for her role as Mrs Slocombe in the television comedy series "Are You Being Served?," has died at the age of 86.Her agent Joan Reddin told newspapers Sugden died on Wednesday after a long illness. "She was a lovely, lovely person. She was a great professional," Reddin said.
With her hair highly coiffed and referring frequently to her "pussy," Sugden played the bossy Mrs Slocombe throughout the run of the BBC's innuendo-laden Are You Being Served? between 1972 and 1985.
Re-runs of the show in the United States in the 1990s gained her a new audience overseas.
"She was great fun, a very good actress, very versatile. She could play serious stuff and comedy," said Frank Thornton, who played opposite Sugden in the series as the stuffy floorwalker Captain Peacock.
"It was a very happy show to work on -- you can't play comedy with people you dislike," he told BBC television.
Mark Freeland, head of BBC comedy, said she was one of television's iconic funny women.
"Her daftly enormous purple rinse and never-to-be-forgotten catchphrase are the stuff of comedy legend," he said.
Sugden had also found success in the BBC TV comedy series "The Liver Birds" and played an occasional role as pub landlady Nellie Harvey in the long-running ITV soap opera "Coronation Street."
